I realized the other day when I quit reading newspapers on weekdays, then eventually on weekends, I lost the comics too. It's a great art form, where smart and sly give us some thing to think about, a deft turn of images and words shoves us over a notch, off our assumptions... they give dimension to a too often flat tableau of news.
